CHURCH COUNCIL

In 2025, Sverdrup Lutheran Church Full Council regularly meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm. The Executive Council meets the Tuesday before the second Wednesday at 1pm. Meetings are held at Sverdrup Lutheran Church unless otherwise noted. It is our practice to skip a meeting in July of each year.

Council members are elected at the Annual Meeting held each January and begin their term of service each February. Executive Council consists of the council officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Financial Secretary) as well as the Pastor. Executive officers are elected for a 1-year term.

Council members elected to standing committees (Worship & Stewardship, Life & Fellowship, Property & Management, Education) are elected for a 3-year term. In addition, a youth representative is elected for a 1-year term.
